 NORWICH, Thursday 13th October 2011 – Five Star Award for Café Oasis at Norwich International
The café at Norwich International Airport contracted by Caterleisure Ltd has been awarded an impressive five star food hygiene rating by the Norwich City Council’s, Food Standards Agency.
The inspection focuses on food hygiene and how staff handles, stores, prepares and serves food. This prestigious award is given to food establishments that achieve a food hygiene rating of excellent as the top rating for food hygiene standards. This means that on an unannounced inspection, the café’s kitchens were found to have very high standards of food safety management, and being fully compliant with food safety legislation.
The new management team has introduced new food menus along with Costa Coffee. They have also been extremely focused on improving its standards across all areas from Food hygiene through to customer service.
John Freeman, General Manager said; “The unit has worked extremely hard to implement improvements to food standards both front and back of house and this is a great recognition of the whole teams hard work to always look to improve the work we do”
