Noise Policy
Monitoring
The Airport currently has three noise monitors on the site boundary (Catton, Spixworth, and Hellesdon). The noise monitors are maintained by an external body. Real time data can be obtained from a PC in the ATC tower.
Noise Contours
In 2005 the Airport commissioned an external body to produce noise contours to produce a noise contour evaluation.
Noise Complaints
The Airport has installed a dedicated noise complaints phone line and responds to every complainant. Noise complaints are logged by the duty managers. Noise complaints are recorded and regularly presented to the board and the Airport Consultative Committee (ACC).
