Turkey's Dalaman coast - also known as the turquoise coast. Think pine clad hills stretching down to fantastic blue waters. Resorts in this region range from tradtional villages to resorts full of family entertainment and electric nightlife.
Turkey's Antalya region is known as the Turkish Riviera. Think 300 days of sunshine each year, soft sand and pebble beaches and warm waters. All along the coastline you will find modern and traditional resorts with something to suit everyone.
Food
Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavours meet here. Fantastic kebabs - sizzling grilled meat served on oven fresh pitta bread. Another great native is 'Meze' which is the turkish take on tapas. You will also find pleny of fresh seafood on offer. In Turkey you can eat on a budget or really push the boat out and treat yourselves.
Shopping
There are plenty of the traditional bazaars, which will really give you an insight in to the turksih culture. All the big resorts also have a good range of boutiques and shops.
