Hand Luggage – liquids & large electrical items.

As has been widely reported, to improve passenger security UK airports are in the process of installing new security screening equipment. Once complete at Norwich Airport, we will update our hand luggage rules here.

Until then, when travelling through Norwich Airport please prepare for security as normal. For hand luggage this means liquids must still be in containers of up to 100ml and carried in a 1-litre clear resealable plastic bag (approx 20cm x 20cm) and removed from hand luggage along with any electrical items such as laptops for security screening.

Please note that Norwich Airport is unable to provide confirmation of any flight delays. Under regulation EC261/2004, it is the responsibility of the air carrier to provide proof of the circumstances surrounding a delay and the published delay timings. The airport operator or handling agent cannot provide you with this information. Please use this link to submit an air passenger rights EU complaint form to your airline.
