Passenger Alert – Road Works
Temporary Traffic Management – A140 Holt Road
From 15 June to mid-November 2025, temporary traffic signals will be in place at the A140 Holt Road, Middletons Lane, and Amsterdam Way junction. The lights will be manually controlled from 7am to 7pm to help traffic flow, but please ensure you allow extra time for journeys to and from the airport.
This marks the first phase of extending The Yellow Pedalway along the A140 Holt Road between Middletons Lane and the Broadland Northway, focusing on upgrading signals and improving footways around the Middletons Lane/Amsterdam Way junction for pedestrians, wheelchair users, pushchairs, and cyclists.

Important Update: Car Parks and Executive Lounge Booking Platform Upgrade
As of February 6th, we have transitioned to a new provider for our Car Parks and Executive Lounge booking platform. If you have a booking made before this date and need to amend or cancel it, please contact us through our Contact Form , as online access via ‘Manage My Booking’ is no longer available for these. Please note that the transfer of future booking data from the previous system is still in progress.
All accounts created before February 6th are no longer accessible. However, when making your next booking on our website you will be prompted to create a new account. Once your new account is set up, it will be available for all future bookings.
To ensure you’re using the new booking platform, please delete any saved links to the old system from your devices and add https://norwichairport.co.uk/car-parking/ to your favourites. We also recommend clearing your browser cookies and rebooting your device for a smoother experience.

Hand Luggage – liquids & large electrical items.
There are currently no changes to the rules regarding liquids and large electrical items in hand luggage. When preparing for security screening at Norwich Airport, please follow the existing guidelines: Liquids must be in containers of 100ml or less and placed in a single, transparent, resealable plastic bag (one per passenger), with a capacity of no more than 1 litre and dimensions of approximately 20cm x 20cm (8in x 8in). All liquids and large electrical items (e.g., laptops) must be removed from hand luggage and presented separately for screening.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping to keep security checks efficient and safe for all passengers.
For more information, please visit our website here and the official UK Government website here
Airport security staff will not let anything through that they consider dangerous – even if it’s normally allowed in hand luggage.
