Norwich Airport has announced that it has chosen Break as its charity of the year for 2026.
The partnership will see the airport work closely with Break over the next 12 months to raise funds and awareness for its vital work supporting children and young people living in, around and leaving care across East Anglia.
Break provides a wide range of services including fostering, residential homes, wellbeing support, mentoring and a dedicated leaving care service, helping young people build confidence, develop strong relationships and access new opportunities.
The airport is no stranger to supporting Break, having sponsored a sculpture at their hugely successful GoGoSafari trail across Norwich last year, which helped raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for the charity’s work.
Richard Pace, Managing Director of Norwich Airport, said: “We are delighted to be supporting Break as our charity of the year for 2026. Their work with children and young people is truly inspiring, helping them to build brighter futures and reach their full potential.
“Having seen the impact Break has across our region, including through initiatives such as GoGoSafari, we are pleased to strengthen our relationship and support them further over the coming year. Our team is looking forward to getting involved in fundraising and awareness activities to make a real difference.”
Peter Marron, Senior Partnerships and Projects Manager at Break, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to have been chosen as Norwich Airport’s charity of the year. Partnerships like this play a vital role in helping us raise the funds we need to continue providing care, support and opportunities for children and young people in and around care.
“The support and generosity from the airport team and its passengers will directly help fund our services, enabling us to provide the stability, encouragement and experiences young people need to thrive. We’re really excited to be working together over the coming year.”
