Loganair Enhanced Flexibility For Oil/Gas Sector

LOGANAIR ENHANCES BOOKING FLEXIBILITY FOR OIL AND GAS SECTOR

Flybe franchise partner, Loganair has modified its booking policies to assist passengers from the oil & gas sector whose travel arrangements may be disrupted due to adverse weather conditions.

The airline will allow oil workers to adjust bookings during instances when weather conditions affect transit from offshore platforms while travelling onwards via Norwich International Airport.

Passengers will be able to make one amendment per return reservation on a free-of-charge basis. A valid offshore worker’s ID card should be provided and changes must be made before the original date of return travel. Secondary dates must be within two days of the original booking.

Loganair operates services to both Manchester and Edinburgh from Norwich International Airport under the Flybe brand and any booking change request should be made via the Flybe call centre on 0371 700 2000.

Roy Bogle, Loganair’s director of revenue and scheduling, said: “We are offering passengers from the oil and gas sector a greater level of flexibility with their travel arrangements.

“Weather conditions can often impact upon transportation to and from offshore platforms so this policy amendment will assist passengers with their onward journeys.

“The airline works closely with representatives from the region’s upsteam energy sector and we are always receptive to ideas which may enhance the service provided.”
