Norwich Airport welcomes new Ryanair flights to Malaga for summer 2027

Norwich Airport has welcomed Ryanair’s announcement of a new twice-weekly service to Malaga for summer 2027, giving holidaymakers another popular sunshine destination to fly to directly from their local airport.

The new route to Spain’s Costa del Sol will operate on Mondays and Thursdays, offering convenient options for both short breaks and longer holidays.

Malaga is the gateway to the Costa del Sol, with popular resorts including Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Marbella, as well as the historic city of Malaga itself.

The announcement marks another expansion of Ryanair’s operations at Norwich Airport since the airline launched its first flights from the airport in 2024.

Ryanair currently operates year-round services to Alicante and Malta, alongside summer flights to Faro in Portugal. The addition of Malaga will bring the airline’s network from Norwich to four destinations.

Richard Pace, Managing Director of Norwich Airport, said: “We’re delighted that Ryanair is adding Malaga to its growing network from Norwich Airport.

“The Costa del Sol is an extremely popular holiday destination and this new route will give passengers across Norfolk and the wider region even more choice when planning their summer holidays.

“It is another positive development in our partnership with Ryanair and further demonstrates the opportunities to grow our route network and offer more convenient travel options from Norwich.”

The new Malaga service is among the first 29 routes announced by Ryanair as part of its summer 2027 schedule, with flights available to book now at www.ryanair.com.
