New café and pub open at Norwich Airport

Norwich welcomes Costa and The Navigator

Passengers travelling from Norwich Airport can enjoy even more choice with the opening of a brand new Costa café and Navigator pub.

The new airside facilities are the latest stage in the transformation of the airport’s catering and retail offer.

The last nine months have included the opening of a brand new duty free shop, a new WH Smith and another Costa outlet in the airport terminal.

In December it was announced that TRG Concessions, part of The Restaurant Group, had been chosen to operate the airport’s catering outlets.

Richard Pace, Managing Director of Norwich Airport, said: “We are excited to welcome the new airside Costa and The Navigator as the latest additions to the terminal, which is fantastic news for passengers.

“It is part of our commitment to providing the best possible experience to the travelling public and offering them even more choice from their local airport.”

Nick Ayerst, Managing Director of TRG Concessions said: “The addition of Costa and The Navigator shows TRG Concessions’ ambition to give Norwich Airport’s growing audience the ultimate pub and coffee experience before their flight. We look forward to welcoming all who visit for years to come.”

The new airside Costa and Navigator, TRG’s own pub brand, have opened hot on the heels of the landside Costa outlet, which opened in December 2018.

WH Smith also opened its brand new airside shop in December, following a refit of its landside store.

In June last year the airport’s brand new World Duty Free store opened following an extensive two-month refit, providing 200 square metres of walkthrough retail space operated by global travel retailer Dufry.

Norwich Airport employs around 280 staff and handles more than half a million passengers a year.

It is part of Regional & City Airports, the airport management division of Rigby Group plc which also owns and operates Coventry Airport, Exeter Airport and Bournemouth Airport.
