Loganair celebrates launch of new Norwich route on Liberation Day

Loganair, the UK’s leading regional airline, has celebrated the successful launch of its new direct service between Jersey and Norwich.

The first flight took off on Jersey Liberation Day, 9 May, marking another milestone in the airline’s continued investment in connectivity for the Channel Islands.

The new seasonal route will operate on Saturdays, increasing to Wednesdays on 3 June, which will then run until 19 September, with one-way fares starting from £109. The service strengthens links between Jersey and the East of England.

The Norwich service is expected to deliver significant benefits for Jersey’s local community and businesses by improving direct access to the UK regions.

Ronnie Matheson, chief commercial officer at Loganair, said: The successful launch of our Norwich service marks another important step in strengthening Jersey’s air connectivity and providing greater choice for customers travelling to the UK. Launching the route on Jersey Liberation Day made the occasion particularly special, as we continue to invest in services that support local communities, tourism and business travel.

Customers flying with Loganair benefit from a 21kg baggage allowance included as standard, providing added value for longer stays.

Loganair was named the most punctual major airline for UK arrivals and departures in 2025 (January-September) by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), with 81% of its flights arriving and departing on time – significantly above the industry average of 72%.
